Valentina has recently received the honor of being named an "eco-spot" by Solstice Green Directory of San Luis Obispo. As an "eco-spot", Valentina is featured on the Solstice Green Directory website, which receives thousand of unique green-conscious visitors.

Valentina has set the new standard for green in the hospitality industry with its revolutionary energy and water conservation efforts.

For example, did you know:

Valentina averages less than 22 cents/sf in electrical every year, almost a fifth of the national industry avg. which hovers around $1.05.

• Roof is designed for thermal efficiency with white PVC membrane to maintain an ideal temperature range throughout the structure.
• Loewen windows, which are made of douglas fir wood (a renewable resource), and are manufactured by sustainable practices. Moreover, they are empirically shown to be among the industry's best in terms of thermal performance.
• Navien tankless water heater systems, rated at 98% energy-efficiency and are extremely efficient with water. In addition, landscaping is low-consumption, with many drought-resistant succulents.
• All landscaping is on a self-monitoring drip system, and pavers in the exterior parking lot allow for clean drainage.
• GE Profile™ Energy Star appliances in the kitchen (i.e. dishwasher), and in the utility room (i.e washer and dryer).
