The parade on Saturday morning kicks off this annual event. What follows is what has brought both residences and visitors back year after year. Local restaraunts take the Chowder Cook-Off Title almost as serious as a politcal race. You must taste and cast your vote, otherwise you might feel left out!
Every year hundreds of vendors come to display things like paintings, carvings, pictures, T-shirts, jewelry and much much more. What’s a festival without carnie food? Come hungry so you can try all the delicious varieties. BBQ, cotton candy, shaved ice, numerous strawberry deserts and every fluid you could imagine to wash it down with too!
Musicians from all over the United States submit demos and request to play live at this popular two day event. Check back later to see who’s coming! If you know a great musician be sure to pass this event on to them!
Don’t leave the kids at home! Our annual Kids Clam Dig could net your kid (12 and under) a $100 bucks! We bury 100 numbered clams in an area 30′ x 100′. Every numbered clam discovered will win a prize! The clam numbered 100 wins the $100 bill. Don’t plan on bringing any devices to assist, including pets, only bare hand digging is allowed.
Kids also enjoy the HUGE inflatable jumpers, animal rides and much more!
