Valentina Inn & Villas has just launched Pismo Beach's newest, soon-to-be claim to fame-- the Very 1st Annual International Pismo Seaside Scribbler Contest (VFAIPSSC). Yes, if you suspected it, the original creators of the legendary World's Worst Poetry Contest have resurrected and transformed their famous competition into a new Pismo Beach tradition. Coined "The Happiest Place on Earth" by none other than Oprah Winfrey, San Luis Obispo County is used to celebrity attention, and Pismo Beach is truly the gem of the county. Now, it is about to become the newest hotbed of fine literature.
This international competition gives writers and wannabe wordslingers the opportunity to apply their talents in a global forum. All persons 18 years of age and older are invited to compete for the grand prize-- 2 complimentary nights (for 2) at Pismo's newest retreat getaway-- Valentina Inn & Villas, where they are guaranteed to discover a new world of luxury and elegance in one of our spacious, amenity-filled villas.
From the moment of arrival, our winner will be greeted with bottles of local Edna Valley wine to enjoy while watching the glistening Pacific sunset from their balcony. In true celebrity style, he/she will be wined and dined at the finest restaurants in the world which are, of course, ubiquitously known to be those of Pismo Beach, CA. This, and much more, will make it the experience of a lifetime for one lucky person and their guest.
