Monarch Mania in Pismo Beach

Starting in late October, Pismo Beach, becomes home of the Monarch Butterflies. Thousands of these majestic creatures make their annual migration to Pismo Beach from early fall through February. They cluster in the limbs of Eucalyptus and Monterey Pines in the area, causing the illusion of yellow and orange leaves. They travel over the Sierra Mountains and west of the Rockies.

Visit the world-renowned Monarch Butterfly Grove, located half a mile south of Pismo Beach just off Highway 1. Take a short bike ride from Valentina to check it out.
