Then, balance yourself for the surfing competition on Saturday. Or, if you don't like to surf, the Clam Festival Parade is a wonderful way to embrace the small town charm that defines Pismo Beach! All these things will probably make you hungry, which is why there is a Clam Chowder Cookoff on Saturday from noon to 2. Finally, bring the kids to the beach Sunday from 12-1 for a clam dig!
