Kathy Kohner Zuckerman, the girl who challenged social norms by picking up a surfboard and taking on the waves of Malibu as Gidget will give a presentation at the San Luis Obispo screening of ACCIDENTAL ICON: The Real Gidget Story, playing Wednesday, October 10 at the Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo at 7:30pm. Director Brian Gillogly and surf legend/pioneer, Linda Benson, will also be on hand for a pre-show reception and a lively Q&A session after the film. The screening is free, with a suggested donation of $15 ($10 for students.)
The meet-and-greet reception is happening before the film at Luis Wine Bar from 5:30-7:00pm and Kathy will be signing "Gidget" books too! Tickets for the reception are$50 tickets for the reception include food, wine, beer and a chance to chat with all the special guests.
