Don't Miss Out on the Festivities! The Pismo Clam Festival is This Weekend!

Yes, it's that time of year again...

No, not Halloween--The Pismo Beach Clam Festival!

Join in the festivities happening Friday through Sunday in Pismo Beach! Kick off the weekend with the annual Wine Walk, where you will be able to sample some excellent local wines. Then, balance yourself for the surfing competition on Saturday. Or, if you don't like to surf, the Clam Festival Parade is a wonderful way to embrace the small town charm that defines Pismo Beach! All these things will probably make you hungry, which is why there is a Clam Chowder Cookoff on Saturday from noon to 2. Finally, bring the kids to the beach Sunday from 12-1 for a clam dig! Great prizes are in store.

Don't miss out on the fun!

64th Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival is October 15-17

64th Annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival
It's a Pismo Beach tradition that is almost as well-known as Pismo Bob's Hardware. Yes, once again we are approaching the annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival. The Pismo Beach Clam Festival is a 3 day, fun-filled weekend celebrating the Pismo Beach's elusive mascot-- the Pismo Clam. With this year's theme of Surfin' Safari, we will also be celebrating the birth of a Classic California surf town. Last year, a crowd of over 10,000 swarmed to Pismo Beach to honor this annual tradition, and this year is going to be even bigger.

Family friendly events include a parade, clam dig, surfing contest, kissing contest, and more. Music and food will be a-plenty.
