Looking for some big air?

Pismo Beach is the place to be. Pismo is a place of both "gusto" and "gust." And if you love kiteboarding or the extreme air sports in general, Pismo Beach is the place to be April 13-15. The 10th Annual Pismo Beach Kite and SUP Expo is making a landing during this ideally windy time of the year.

This show will include product demonstrations, raffles daily, a fundraiser BBQ and a silent auction. Show off your kite and talk it up with the big timers in these sports. There will be SUP will be available for demo from 9am until 12noon. For those who haven't gotten into the Standup Paddling craze, this may just turn you into an SUP fanatic.

Kite and accessory vendors will be ready starting at 11am. Official kite demo hours are 12pm to 5pm.

Cal Poly's Admitted Students' Preview Day is a great way to get to know the Cal Poly campus. Students and their supporters will have a chance to hear from President Jeffrey Armstrong; visit with college deans, faculty, and current students; discover the many available resources and take tours of the campus.

Saturday's events are open to the public. The day starts off with a parade that includes Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo organizations. After the parade, the Club Showcase begins. This includes demonstrations and concession booths representing more than 200 campus groups. There will also be a Kids' Fair with many kid- and family-friendly activities.

Pacific Breeze Concert Series

The Pacific Breeze Concert Series will be happening Sundays from 1:00-4:00 pm. The first concert will be March 25, and will feature Big Daddy's Blues Band.
